For the second time this year, Portugal based designer Marisa Passos wins Bronze in the Monthly Design Awards.

October seems to have been a busy month for most of you, as we have not received an awful lot of good designs. In fact, being as picky as they are, our jurors chose to pick only three of the many submitted designs for our longlist – two of which also made in on our October shortlist.

And with high scores in two of our four criteria ("Aesthetics" and "Creativity") it was Marisa Passos' Portfolio website that our jury members found worthy of a Bronze Award – her second Monthly Design Award, by the way. Congratulations! (No other awards were given in October.)

No Textile Bags, Please

Finally, in view of the occasion, let me please emphasize one thing: For the IACE Monthly Design Awards you may submit designs in two categories: "Logo Design" and "Website Design". We might extend the Monthly Design Awards sometime in the future to encompass more categories. However – and I hate to be the one to break this to you: None of these categories will include "textile bags" - however beautiful they might be.
